We are glad you found our program while you are here at Illinois. Our curriculum is tailored to easy transfer for students from a variety of curriculum backgrounds here on campus. Transferring into the Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies and Planning program is possible up to your junior fall semester, provided you have completed our foundation requirements. For students already enrolled at Illinois, you must have 30 credit hours (not counting AP credit) prior to your transfer. Sophomore transfer students may have a remaining foundation course prior to transfer; exploring our program by taking one of our classes is highly recommended.
We consider applications for inter-college transfers four times during the academic year: during the first ten days of the fall and spring semesters (for that semester) and during pre-registration (for the following semester.) An application form and statement are required, as is a meeting with the BAUSP Director.
