Where did you go for undergrad and what did you major in?
I am pursuing a Bachelor's in Urban Studies and Planning with concentrations in Sustainability and Policy Planning. I am also working towards a minor in Geography and a certificate in Geographic Information Sciences.
Why did you choose to attend DURP at UIUC?
I chose to attend UIUC for urban planning because of the wide variety of courses the department offered. Planning is such a diverse field and as a freshman, I did not know what aspects of planning I would fit into. I liked that the department offered a wide range of courses to give me a broad idea of the field, and then narrow my interests down as I progressed in the program.
What are your career ambitions?
I aspire to become a practicing planner and contribute to the creation of healthy developments in urban areas.
