The Department of Urban and Regional Planning will welcome three new members to our faculty starting in fall 2023. Colleen Chiu-Shee, Omar Perez Figueroa, and Rebecca Walker will join our faculty as Assistant Professors contributing research and teaching in the areas of environmental design, climate change and disaster management, and urban political ecology. In the coming weeks, the department will share more about the courses offered by our new faculty members and other opportunities to engage with their work.
