The Lectures and Events Committee invites you to participate in the first event of the 2020-21 Engagement Series on Race, Democracy, and the Future of Planning, to be held on Thursday, November 19, from 12:30-2 PM. This workshop-style event, open to faculty and students, will be an opportunity to identify ways that current course offerings and design can be modified/improved to promote anti-racism, using the POCIG response to the ACSP’s statement on George Floyd as a call to action. The workshop will build on anti-racism discussions during the DURP retreat while advancing the Department’s curriculum review.
