Building Bridges: Community and University Partnerships in East St. Louis
Join us as current and former DURP faculty and students discuss the lessons and transformative potential arising from engaged scholarship. Panelists will discuss the East St. Louis Action Research Project, led by former DURP Professor Kenneth Reardon through the 1990s and widely regarded as a national model in participatory action research. Alumni will discuss how their engagement in the project shaped their career trajectories, and current faculty will discuss ways the project can inform engaged scholarship in Puerto Rico.
