During this session, we will discuss the Chicago Recovery Plan and the various considerations we have made to incorporate equity into our process. From staff hiring to project selection and management, we continue to center equity in our work, incorporating crucial lessons learned regarding implementation.

Munira is an urban planner and data enthusiast who is the Program Manager for the DPD Chicago Recovery Plan team. Her deep passion lies in promoting equity through data transparency and inclusive policy, she aims to foster equitable outcomes and drive meaningful change. Leveraging her expertise in spatial analysis and economic development, she strives to make a significant contribution to the city’s growth.
