Graduate Advising
Graduate students in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning receive advising support from the department academic advisor and from faculty. We are available to support your development as a student and urban planning professional.
- Our academic advisor is responsible for helping Master of Urban Planning students build a plan of study around their personal and professional goals. Academic advising also includes professional development and support for internship and job searches.
- Faculty are available to support Master of Urban Planning students with research and applied engagement including capstone projects and thesis research. Faculty also work to mentor students on professional development and career development.
- Doctoral students work directly with their faculty advisor and committee to build a plan of study and to track program milestones and progress.
