What to Expect

Here you'll find information regarding what to expect from the Urban Studies and Planning Minor.

Coursework

The Urban Studies and Planning Minor requires 20 credit hours of coursework. This curriculum consists of:

  • 2 core courses
  • 14 credit hours of electives—electives are all 100-, 200-, 300-, and 400-level courses offered by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning
  • at least 6 hours of coursework in 300- or 400-level courses, distinct from credit earned for a major or another minor
